No Internal Threads In Vented Burner Pipe

Our machine that threads the burner pipes simultaneously threads both the inside and outside of the pipes. The threads are not as visibly pronounced on the inside, but they are there.  Please be sure you are not cross-threading the fitting into the burner.  If you are still unable to use the inside threads, your quickest method to put the gas log set into use is to install a 1/2" x 3/8" reducing coupling onto the outside threads, into which the fitting can be assembled.  This is a common fitting available for a couple of dollars at Home Depot, Loews or any hardware store.
